advancing early detection.
ScreenHER is a women’s health diagnostics company focused on removing barriers to cervical cancer screening and enabling earlier, more equitable care.
Despite being largely preventable, cervical cancer continues to affect hundreds of thousands of women each year—often because screening is invasive, clinic-dependent, slow, or simply inaccessible. Too many women are screened late or not at all, leading to delayed diagnosis and poorer outcomes.
ScreenHER exists to change that.

What We’re Building
ScreenHER is developing a non-invasive, point-of-care cervical cancer screening platform designed for real-world patients and real-world care settings.
Our technology is built to deliver rapid results without lab dependence, enabling providers to screen, triage, and act within a single visit. By simplifying the screening experience and accelerating time to follow-up, ScreenHER supports earlier intervention across OB/GYN, primary care, and global health environments.
The platform is designed with scalability in mind—supporting deployment in both high-resource healthcare systems and low-resource, community-based settings worldwide.
Why It Matters
Screening only works when patients can access it.
Globally, the majority of women have never been screened for cervical cancer. Even in the U.S., nearly 40% of women are not up to date. Structural barriers—discomfort, clinic dependence, long turnaround times, and fragmented follow-up—continue to limit participation and undermine prevention efforts.
By reimagining screening as fast, patient-friendly, and accessible at the point of care, ScreenHER aims to close this gap and support global efforts to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health threat.
Our 90-second pitch
This 90-second pitch video introduces ScreenHER, a women’s health diagnostics company advancing early detection through a non-invasive, point-of-care cervical cancer screening platform.
Founder and CEO Jennifer Estep shares her background as a Purdue-trained engineer and medtech commercialization leader, the unmet need created by invasive, lab-dependent screening workflows, and why current approaches fail to reach millions of women.
The video highlights ScreenHER’s patient-centered solution, early traction including licensed academic IP and regulatory planning, and the company’s mission to remove structural barriers to preventive care at scale.
Our Vision
We believe preventive care should be designed for the people it serves.
ScreenHER’s long-term vision is to build a scalable women’s health diagnostics platform that advances early detection, improves outcomes, and expands access—so more women, everywhere, are reached earlier, when it matters most.
